EVERYONE deserves to be treated equally.. no matter what!
okay so the other day, well yesterday actually, we had this sub teacher for english and as soon as i walked through the door he singled me out of the class.
he was all like 'oh get outside young lady'
so i said 'oh okay then sir'
and then when he finally called me back inside, my whole class was standing up while he was giving us this lecture on how nobody deserves to be treated equally and that we should respect him even if he doesnt respect us all this other crap.
so i got SUPER angry at him cos he full on made me stand up in front of the class as an 'example' of what not to be!
and i started yelling at him saying that everyone deserves to be treated equally whether you're a girl or guy or whether you are gay or straight or etc.
he then told me that i was WORTHLESS and that my opinions dont matter because im under the age of 18 and that everything i say is stupid and i probally dont even know the meaning of the words coming out of my mouth.
well as a matter of fact, i was saying that what he said was discrimination and that teachers and students are both equal and that we all deserve to be treated the same.
and then he had to guts to say to me oh you have no idea what you are talking about young lady, your only 13 years of age. you dont know what those words mean..
i absaloutly LOST it!
so i just walked out of class...
did i do the right thing and stand up for what i believe in or should have i just kept my mouth shut??
i personally think i did the right thing because there were a lot of kids in my class that were thinking the same thing as i was saying but didnt have the guts to say it.
but then again, i could have gotten suspended or whatever cos his a wanker and would have made the whole thing worse than it was...
and then, that night amber told her mum and her boyfriend and they said the same thing to amber as Mr hansen said to me..
that opinions only matter when your of legal age..
thats absaloute bullshit!
everyone deserves to have their voices heard, not just teachers or parents or people in the public eye.
its so wrong to say that nobody deserves to be treated the same.
we are all equal no matter who we are.
you shouldnt be singled out of a whole bunch of people just because you have the confidence to stand up for what you believe in.
it doesnt matter whether you have 'emo' hair or you wear different clothes to other people, no one deserves to have that stuff said to them.
no matter what!
anyway..
best be off..
